Now it is your turn, the registrations will open on sunday
Registration is open for the 2016 Dakar…but only just until the 15th of July for the bikes and quads.
There are less than eight months to go before the start of the 2016 Dakar on January 2nd in the capital of Paraguay, Asunción. The entry deadline may seem far off… but in fact it is right around the corner for the most meticulous, whose preparation is sometimes planned over two or three years. The applicant files, which constitute the determining element of the registration form, can be submitted as from today. They will be gone through with a fine tooth comb by the Dakar competition committee, which will make sure that the bike and quad competitors who desire to enter have rally-raid experience and the requisite physical and technical skills. Entry for these two categories is voluntarily limited and the selection process leaves the organizers no choice but to close registration in mid-July. However, registration for the car and truck teams will close in November.
